Pick one, customize the length and tone, and we craft a complete novel with full story bible, chapter outlines, and publication-quality prose.

A short story (3 chapters) takes about 2-3 minutes. A novella (10 chapters) takes 10-15 minutes. A full novel (21 chapters) takes 30-45 minutes. You can read chapters as they generate and don't need to wait for the full book to be complete.

Yes! In addition to the personalized concepts we generate, you can describe your own idea. Tell us "a mystery set in Tokyo where I'm a detective with synesthesia" or "something like Inception meets The Office" and we'll build concepts around your vision.

Yes. Stories are saved to your library and you can revisit, continue, or request revisions to any chapter. We're also building a collaborative editing mode where you can work with the engine to refine specific scenes.

Absolutely. Your profile data is used solely to personalize your stories. We never sell your data. Photos are processed for character descriptions and are not stored permanently. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You do. Every story generated through Povella is yours. You can download, share, publish, or do anything you like with your stories.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time, and all associated data including profile information and generated stories will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Povella works on any modern web browser: desktop, tablet, or mobile. We offer dark mode, light mode, and sepia reading modes. Pro users can also download stories as EPUB files for Kindle and other e-readers.

We're building native iOS and Android apps. For now, the web app is fully responsive and works beautifully on mobile browsers.
